Description
The most famous mountain in the Sauerland is at the center of this route. At the beginning you go up 843 m on the Kahlen Asten, then you have a long descent to Hallenberg, before you go back to Winterberg over the Fransozen-Kruis. In Winterberg it is definitely worth taking a detour to the Trailpark, which you will find on the territory of five mountains. This largest and excellently marked mountain bike park in Sauerland is free. Bike fun from light to heavy on 60 km of signposted routes. You will arrive at the Herrloh, Bremberg Sürenberg, Poppenberg and Butzhol mountains if you follow the yellow arrows on the signage.
