Description
There is a circular cycle path through the heart of the Sauerland. With a length of 84 km on former railway tracks, you cycle along the municipalities of Lennestadt, Eslohe-Finnentrop and Schmallenberg. The"Hennesee loop\\\" and extension with a length of 40 km was created by members, so that this beautiful cycle path with a length of 124 km now connects to the train stations Meschede and Freienohl. The reservoir Hennesee near Meschede offers many leisure opportunities. At Eslohe-Kückelheim you pass through a bat tunnel, which is closed from November 1 to April 1, because the bats hibernate there at this time.
