Bergen op Zoom Brabantse Wal East

This beautiful route starts at the Bergen op Zoom railway station. You walk via the Gageldonk district on the A4 highway towards the east side of the Brabantse Wal. This walk goes through the Zoomland and Lievensberg nature reserves. In my opinion, the route offers enough variety between wide avenues, heathlands, winding paths and, especially in the southern part, also the necessary (slight) height differences. Hikers who like silence will certainly get their money's worth.

There is little or no catering along the way, so it is advisable to bring something with you.

Finally, a comment about the signage. In addition to the well-known square stickers/plates with a green outside and a yellow arrow, green/yellow marking is also used on trees. (Similar to the LAW markings).
