Walking through the countryside of Roosendaal

Just below Roosendaal you walk through an extension of the Rucphense Bossen. You also pass a bit over the Visdonk estate.

Rucphen Forests
You start the route in the hamlet of Posthoorn. Along fields and meadows you walk on a car-free road into an extension of the Rucphense Bossen. Here you walk through a mix of fragrant conifers and shady deciduous trees. The deeper you walk into the forest, the quieter it becomes. It will not be difficult for you to switch back a bit here. After a while the forests make way for agricultural lands again and you see some beautiful farms.

Visdonk Estate
At the edge of the Visdonk estate you can take a break. You walk along the sandy path into the Visdonk forest. On the right you look out over fields and grasslands. There is a good chance that you will see a buzzard or a honey buzzard soaring through the air here. You walk through the hamlet of 't Hoekse, after which you walk back into the Rucphense Bossen.
