The Via Adrina is the road with a view and explores the loops of the Eder. The hike starts at the parking lot of the'Zum Bahnhof\\\' restaurant in Arfeld. Via the Ederbrug you come to a steep mountain and a kilometer further on to a viewpoint, where you have a view of the entire hiking area.
The'Café Hainbach\\\' is the next stop. You walk around the valley of the Mühlbach valley and arrive at a herd of rare'Red Wittgensteiner mountain cattle\\\'. After a long descent with a view, including the Arfelder Eder loop, you cross the L 903. It continues along the edge of the steep slope of the Eder and through a natural deciduous forest. After a long descent with even more views, you arrive at a former train track, which you follow parallel. In the immediate vicinity of the Schwarzenauer castle, Alexander Mack baptized himself and other fellow believers in the Eder in 1708 and with this gesture started a piety religion.
Then comes a long, steep ascent in the settlement of Hüttental. A second chair offers striking views. You reach Arfeld with the important Dean's Church, which is now also a bicycle-walking church. Next to it is the'Alte Schmiede\\\' museum. A climb takes you to the premium hiking trail'Wittgensteiner Schieferpfad\\\'. Along the Eder you go back to the starting point.
