The'Trödelsteinpfad\\\' runs from the Buchheller valley to the'Trödelsteinen\\\'. Along the way you will experience the peculiarities of the basaltic natural landscape between the Rothaar Mountains and Westerwald.
The start of your tour is a hiking parking lot in the Auestraße in Wahlbach. From here you follow the marking to the edge of the forest. In a clockwise direction you take a forest path along the rippling Buchheller, which initially accompanies you, after which you walk further and further into the forest. The path bends at a right angle and you start climbing the'Trödelsteine\\\'. In between you are witnesses of the ore mining in the Buchheller valley: The entrance to the mines and slag remains are relics from the time of mining. The cross on top of the'Trödelsteine\\\' greets you from afar. When you reach the top, you have a view of the green Siegerland in good weather. Of course you write your name in the book.
Then you venture downhill. You follow the E1, which runs parallel to the'Trödelstein\\\' path for a few hundred meters, after which you become border crossings between Rhineland-Palatinate and North Rhine-Westphalia. You leave the long distance route and continue on narrow paths through mystical forests, back to the starting point. Along the way you will pass the jenever heath in the'Saukaute\\\' nature reserve. Continuing on narrow paths, which always require a firm footing, you arrive back in Wahlbach.
