Description
You start at the cozy café Tivoli in Nispen, where you can drink delicious coffee before or after this route, possibly with a tasty sausage roll from our own bakery. You walk along the fields and forests. After junction 22 you can find a bench on your left where you have a nice vantage point to spot birds in the water. In the middle of your route you are in the Wouwse plantation, where you can drink a cup of coffee at the local catering industry. After you are rested you go along the hem, a path along a deep stream towards the border. At the end of this long road you go over a sandy path (the border path) towards a border marker. Here is the border between Belgium and the Netherlands, here is also a nice seat to relax for the last few km. when you are back in the center of Nispen you have walked 13.25km.
You can make the route a bit shorter, then you turn left at node 21 on a sandy path to node 23. This route is 9.30km.
