Walking through the farmlands near Eibergen

In the outskirts of Eibergen you can take a quiet walk through the Achterhoek landscape. You will also pass some historical sights.

Kerkloobos
The route starts with a terrace at Restaurant Het Muldershuis. On the other side of the road you pass the Mallumse Molen, a monumental corn and hulling mill from 1748. The accompanying lock also dates from 1748. You cross the Berkel, after which you walk along the leafy footpath along the Ramsbeek. Further on you walk through the varied Kerkloobos, a legacy of a former mayor of Eibergen to the community in 1924.

Berkel
You walk a bit further along the Ramsbeek. Walking on the Apedijk you can enjoy the vastness and the unprecedented silence. On the other side of the Berkel you will pass Het Loo, a hamlet of a few authentic farms. Further on you pass a beautiful monumental half-timbered barn on the right side of the road. On the left was once the manor Mallum, now a landscape artist has created a labyrinth.
