A day through the Biesbosch

You can relax in De Biesbosch National Park. Cycling along the Bandijk you will see pristine grasslands, reed beds and ponds. Just past junction 4 you pass the Wassende Maan. Climb the hill to discover this work of art. Past junction 8 you will see the Jantjesplaat on the left: a former agricultural area that is now a wetland. Cycling along the Deeneplaatweg it seems as if you are driving through a deserted area. It is unusually quiet here. You can cross the Amer with a ferry. From the car-free road you look out over the vast Brabant polders. In Drimmelen you cycle through the protected villagescape, where you will see beautiful monumental buildings. Further on you drive into the Biesbosch again.
