It continues through the romantic Priental in the direction of Aschau i. Chiemgau. The"Boarische Entschleunigungsweg\\\" invites you to relax and unwind with its unique"Bankerl\\\" (= benches). Also recommended is the detour over the Kampenwand with its characteristic mountain top, from where you have a beautiful view of the Chiemsee.
In Bernau am Chiemsee, a crossing with the Chiemsee ferry service to the Herreninsel and the castle of King Ludwig II and a magical park is certainly part of it. Afterwards, the Fraueninsel, of which a tour on foot only takes half an hour, is still worth a visit.
Between Rottau and Grassau you come to the museum"Salz & Moor\\\" (Klaushäusl), the only completely preserved pumping station of the salt pipeline from Reichenhall to Rosenheim. Along marshlands (Bergener Moos) a ride with the mountain lift to the Hochfell gives a beautiful view. Back in the valley it continues to Siegsdorf. The Physics and Mammoth Museum of Southeast Bavaria lures here, which aptly depicts the development of the region.
