Description
From the Tegernsee you continue in the direction of Schliersee. The place Schliersee offers freely accessible bathing waters with the highest water quality with the Schliersee and Spitzingsee.
Along the western shore of the scenic lake, the road will take you to the Markus Wasmeier Open Air Museum. There you can discover, among other things, how life used to be. A detour to the whiskey distillery Slyrs is not to be missed. You can taste whiskey from Overbayern, which is distilled with mountain water from the Bannwaldquelle.
The cycle route now takes you to Fischbachau, known for the pilgrimage church Birkenstein, in the direction of Bad Feilnbach. A lot revolves around the extensive offer for mountain bikers of all levels of difficulty. Bett & Bike - under this motto, bike-friendly accommodations in Bad Feilnbach together with the Deutscher Fahrradclub offer a super service for cyclists. There is a separate room for the bicycle, a repair kit for breakdowns and a vitamin and carbohydrate-rich breakfast for cyclists.
The tour continues via Raubling, with one of the largest continuous mountain marshes in Europe, to Neubeuern am Inn.
