Stage 2: Mountains, Castles and Lakes in Schlosspark Allgäu and Ammergau Alps Nature Park

On the following kilometers you will pass through the ADFC certified RadREiseRegion Schlosspark im Allgäu. The region is characterized by striking mountains, numerous lakes and world-famous castles. A ride with the Alpspitzbahn Nesselwang guarantees a breathtaking view of the wonderful landscape of the Schlosspark in good weather.

Accompanied by the enchanting view of the Allgäu Alps, Zugspitze and finally the Tannheim Mountains, you arrive in Füssen via the Hopfensee. Bavaria's highest city offers pure romance. The cozy cafes and many small businesses in the medieval city center invite you to an extensive party. You continue via the Lech, with a view of both Hohenschwangau Castle and Neuschwanstein Castle.

On the further journey to Upper Bavaria it now goes directly over the Weiskirche to Wildsteig in the Pfaffenwinkel. The route through the Ammergau Alps Nature Park and the Blue Land is graced by unique marsh landscapes. Murnau am Staffelsee, the center of the Blue Country, also has a lot to offer with the Münter-Haus and the Castle Museum. The place is also known for its picturesque pedestrian area with countless shopping opportunities, cozy breweries and side streets with galleries and studios.
