Description
This route takes you through the Denderstreek, just outside Geraardsbergen. An area where cyclists, but also walkers, can fully enjoy nature. Wear waterproof shoes!
Everbeek
You will soon walk into the valley of the Terkleppebeek. It is wonderful to walk here on the footpath between the meadows. You will have no trouble switching back immediately. In Everbeek you will see some beautiful mansions and the St. Mary's Church, a hall church from 1758. You can walk leisurely to the next stream valley via the sloping footpath. The Korreelbeek flows here.
Goeferdinge
From Goeferdinge you look out over the Molenbeek valley. You walk past the eighteenth-century St. Bavo Church and you also see some farms. Then you walk through the Kalsterbeek valley. It is wonderfully quiet here. Ideal if you want to spend a day chatting with friends and family. Finally you pass through the village of Zarlardinge. While walking you will find plenty of cozy catering locations along the route for a pit stop.

Take a trip through the beautiful nature reserves of East Flanders and then immediately plan a break at one of the many breweries that you will encounter here.
