Tour Monnickendam, Volendam and Edam

Your route starts at Restaurant Pieterman. The first old town on your route soon appears on the horizon: Monnickendam. In the historic city center you will see many monumental buildings with stepped, bell or pointed gables. You pass the Town Hall from 1746. The Speeltoren is a town hall tower, which has housed a museum since 1981. There are some beautiful places waiting for you in the Waterland. Along your route you will come across two picturesque villages full of wooden houses: Broek in Waterland and Zuiderwoude. Just outside Warder is a beautiful bird watching spot: bring your binoculars! At the port of Edam you drive over the Pietersbrug, a monumental wooden drawbridge. The old harbor of Volendam is the last attraction on your route, where you will see the Stolp Church from 1658.
