Walking through forest and Geuldal

From Valkenburg you can walk straight into the sloping forests. A day of Limburg relaxation! You also pass through the picturesque Geuldal. You quickly climb into the Biebosch, a beautiful forest where you mainly see oaks and beeches. Many types of plants also grow there. From the forest you walk through the meadows, it is wonderfully quiet here in this tree-lined spot. You can also enjoy nature in the Sint-Jansbos, you also pass several former marl quarries. Between the meadows you descend to Taverne't Koetshoes. The fairytale castle originally dates from the twelfth century, but has been renovated several times.
