The beautiful Zwaan Bikes Rotterdam route

Rotterdam is easy to explore by bike. This route shows you the many beautiful highlights of the Netherlands' largest port city. You also drive along the Rotte to the Rottemeren.

Rottemeren
At Zwaan Bikes Rotterdam you can rent a bicycle before you ride across the Weena. You will see some architectural highlights here, such as the station and the 131 meter high Millennium Tower. Then you drive along the course of the meandering Rotte into the polder. You will see some beautiful locks, farms and old mills, such as the Tweemanspolder no. 3 from 1792. You will see a lot of natural beauty, especially around the Rottemeren.

Maas Boulevard
Then you drive past the Kralingse Plas. Here you will see the only two snuff mills in the Netherlands: the Ster from 1866 and the Lelie from 1740. From beautiful Kralingen you drive onto the Maasboulevard, where you have a beautiful view. On the Willemskade you can visit the Wereldmuseum Rotterdam, and on the other side of the Maas there are some iconic buildings on the Kop van Zuid. You drive back to Zwaan Bikes Rotterdam along the Euromast and the Coolhaven.
