Description
From Nistelrode you can easily walk into Landschapspark de Maashorst. A beautiful nature reserve where you can enjoy a peaceful walk.
Slabroek Nature Center
At Eetcafé't Pumpke you can enjoy a drink and something tasty before you set off. You walk past meadows and fields to Menzel, a hamlet where you see some beautiful long-fronted farms. You can walk through the flowery meadows via an unpaved path. You will pass the Slabroek Nature Center, which is located in a monumental farm. Nistelrode
Then you walk through one of the quietest parts of the Maashorst. Here are forests in which you see alternating deciduous and coniferous trees. You also have views over pristine wet grasslands and hedgerows. A place where you will have no trouble switching back and forgetting the daily routine. Back in Nistelrode you pass the former town hall, a beautiful monumental building from 1938.
