Description
Between Kalmthout and Bergen op Zoom you cycle through the forests. There seems to be no end to all that natural beauty! Get on your bike and come and enjoy a day of Burgundian enjoyment.
Lievensberg
The first few kilometres you will loosen up your legs in Kalmthout and Wildert, two friendly Belgian villages. After crossing the border with the Netherlands, you will enter the Wouwse Plantage. This sixteenth-century estate has only been open to the public since 1987! On the adjacent Lievensberg Estate you can visit the Visitor Centre Natuurpodium.
Border Park
On the edge of Huijbergen you pass the Johanna, a corn mill from 1862. Then you drive through the forests of the border park De Zoom-Kalmthoutse Heide. It is nice to make kilometers here, it will not be difficult for you to change down a bit here. In Putte you cross the border with Belgium. You drive through the forests again for a while, you also pass the Beekeeping Museum: a nice stop.
