Description
Zeeland is not only a province, it is also the name of a charming village near Uden in Brabant. Yet here too you can find a beach - and you will make many more special discoveries.

Today you will explore the nature reserve Maashorst. First you will make a nice shortcut along the water at the edge of the village and then walk into the quiet countryside with the beautiful characteristic farms. In Oventje, near junction 69, there is a unique monument: a broken electricity pole. The metal pole gave way during the infamous Storm Disaster of 1925.
Maashorst
Further on you walk into the coniferous forests of the Maashorst, the largest contiguous nature reserve in North Brabant. Via a recreational beach you walk back into Zeeland. Before the end of the route you pick up a few more monuments: De Dageraad, a beautiful corn mill from 1832, and the monumental village church from the mid-nineteenth century.
