Tour of Zeeland in Brabant

Zeeland is not only a province, it is also the name of an attractive village near Uden in Brabant. Nevertheless, you can also find a beach here - and you can make many more special discoveries.

Today you will explore the Maashorst nature reserve. You first make a nice crossing along the water on the edge of the village and then walk into the quiet countryside with the beautiful characteristic farms. In Oventje, near junction 69, there is a unique monument: a broken electricity pole. The metal pole gave way during the infamous storm disaster of 1925.

Further on, you walk into the coniferous forests of the Maashorst, the largest contiguous nature reserve in North Brabant. You walk back into Zeeland via a recreational beach. Before the end of the route, you can pick up a few more monuments: De Dageraad, a beautiful flour mill from 1832, and the monumental village church from the middle of the nineteenth century.
