Fens route Geldrop

It is a beautiful route that starts at the IJzeren man, an excavation, but now a beautiful lake, in Geldrop. Near the swimming pool, with free parking spaces and a beautiful terrace nearby. You walk through the park, through a beautiful neighborhood, over the viaduct over the A67 and to a beautiful piece of forest between Geldrop and Heeze, where peace and"silence\\\" reign. Through the woods and the fields, often nicely sheltered under the trees. You see beautiful fens with water lilies along the way and you hear, but also see an awful lot of frogs. A watchtower is indicated on the map, but when you arrive on site, it is not there. It is definitely a nice place to look around and enjoy the beautiful area. It is an open space on the water, but you can also relax under the trees.

The way back is mainly on a paved cycle path, remember that you are walking on the right side. You will occasionally hear a train rush past, but that is rare. Once almost back at the Iron Man, you go under a viaduct and back into the park. Try to forget the noise you hear from the highway at that moment. But enjoy the beautiful park through which you walk, along the water. When we arrived at the terrace, we enjoyed a very well-kept, delicious, reserved High Tea.
