Cycling past fortifications of the Grebbe Line

You are at Fort aan de Buursteeg, one of the largest forts on the Grebbe Line. Further on, you pass another fortification: the Linie van de Juffrouwwijk. Shortly afterwards, you drive through the Amerongse Bos, one of the oldest forests on the Utrechtse Heuvelrug. On the dike along the Rhine, you can clear your head while enjoying beautiful panoramic views. You drive past the Grebbeberg. Here, you can dismount briefly to climb to the Koningstafel for a majestic view. Further on, you pass the Grebbe Lock and the associated eighteenth-century earthen fortifications. To the right, you look out over the bird-rich nature reserve De Blauwe Kamer. Just past Wageningen, you drive through the forests of the Veluwe.
