A beautiful tour around De Hoge Veluwe National Park, along nice villages such as Otterlo and Hoenderloo. On the way you will also discover the special Museum Airbase Deelen
Hoge Veluwe
First you cycle to the cozy Otterlo for a cup of coffee on one of the terraces. Then you drive along the northern edge of National Park De Hoge Veluwe to Hoenderloo. Here too you can find nice places to have a drink. You keep following the edge of the park along the east side, here you have beautiful views to the heath.
Deelen Air Base
You will also pass the Deelen Air Base Museum. Here you can get off to learn more about the nighttime air war over the Netherlands during World War II. After your tour around the park, turn off at Oud-Reemst in the direction of Ede. You cycle beautifully over heaths around the city. This is also the Veluwe, you will find beautiful heathlands between the forests. You will soon be back at your starting point.
