Discovering between Veluwe and Veluwemeer

There is a lot to discover on the northern edge of the Veluwe. You can drive straight into the rural countryside, a nice change from the woods of the Veluwe!

IJsselvliedt estate
From your starting point just above Epe you immediately dive into the woods of the Veluwe. You cycle through the De Dellen, Kamperklippen and the Zwolse bos to Wezep. Landgoed IJsselvliedt is located on the edge of Wezep, where the park is decorated in a French style. The estate dates from 1650, the current country house was built in 1824 in neoclassical style. Then you make a nice round through the rural countryside between the Veluwe and the Veluwemeer.

Oldebroek Heath
A little further on you will see the Zwaluwenburg, an 18th century country house in baroque style, six rooms of which are used as a gallery. You can take nice walks around the castle. At the beginning of the driveway is the'A.Vogel Garden\\\', where medicinal plants are grown. This garden is accessible for free. Via the Oldebroekse Heide you drive back to square one. Enjoy a delicious pancake at Pannenkoekenrestaurant De Ossenstal. You must be hungry by now!
