Your route starts at Cafe Restaurant De Wildse Hut. Cycling along the Maas near Den Bosch is wonderful. You will find peace, space and natural beauty. In Kerkdriel and Alem you can visit nice museums. From the dike you look out over the floodplains and the river. In Kerkdriel you can visit the Driels Museum, which is housed in a beautiful old school building. You will learn more about local history here. Further on you will pass through Alem, a village that lies on an island in the Maas. You will pass the former Protestant Church from 1640, which now houses a roof tile museum. You will also cycle past the Koornwaard nature reserve and the Rosmalense Plas, a leafy recreation area that originated from a sand quarry.
