Description
From the village of Groet you can walk straight into the Schoorlse Duinen. On the beach you pass the lagoon that was officially opened in 2015.
White Church
The beautiful White Church you see here dates from 1639. The Schoorlse Duinen is one of the most beautiful nature reserves in the Netherlands. You walk on sloping paths through woods, dunes and heath. The forest was created in the nineteenth century because the residents of nearby Schoorl wanted to prevent their village from disappearing under the shifting sand.
Lagoon
On the beach you can enjoy the view over the North Sea. Enjoy a breath of fresh air while listening to the sound of the surf. In good weather you can take a dip. You pass a lagoon that was created here a few years ago. A phenomenon unique to the Netherlands.
