Description
You can take a beautiful bike ride with two faces around Schoorl. First you drive many kilometers through the gently rolling Schoorlse Duinen, where you can get a breath of fresh air. The Schoorlse Duinen are the highest and widest dunes in the Netherlands. You then cycle through the vast landscape of several centuries-old polders. A century ago there was one large sandbox here, now you can enjoy a varied landscape of forest and dunes in the Schoorlse dunes. In June and July, many thousands of pine orchids form a white carpet here.
