Cycling around Castricum is never boring. You will experience a day of sea, dunes and cultural history. Soon after boarding, you will pass the Museum Abbey of Egmond. In the polder it is nice to get a breath of fresh air while you enjoy the views. A fun way to unwind! The Dutch dunes along the North Sea are among the most beautiful in the world. When you drive through the North Holland Dune Reserve, you understand why. Here you will find an alternation between forest and dunes covered with grass and shrubbery. You can enjoy this natural beauty for many kilometers from the cycle path. In Egmond aan Zee you can visit Museum Prince Hendrik the Navigator. Or you can grab a terrace on the beach. In good weather you can take a dip.

Our Lady of Distress in Heiloo in North Holland is the largest Marian pilgrimage site in the Netherlands. You will find a special estate where you as a guest can take a walk or participate in the activities in the park. You can discover the entire region from the tea house and shop Het Oesdom. Come and drink coffee or tea (with a biscuit) and order an ice cream, something soft or a bag of chips for the children. Inside it is cozy and outside you can enjoy the park at a table under the trees on the square. You are most welcome!
