The 95 kilometer long Driedalenweg offers spectacular nature and cultural experiences. You cycle on beautiful roads through the romantic Urdonautal, the wide valley of the Bavarian Danube and the small picturesque Schambachtal. Along the way you will discover unique geological rock formations and towns rich in tradition.
The tour runs from Dollnstein in a southerly direction directly to the Urdonautal via Wellheim to the Donautal (alternatives along the river Schutter are possible). On the Donauradweg you enter the beautiful Neuburg ad Donau, whose castle towers high above the city. It continues in a pleasant and flat way to Ingolstadt, best known for the outlet center Ingolstadt Village and Audi. On a former train track, the route becomes a bit more strenuous. In Bettbrunn you can rest and visit the pilgrimage church of St. Salvator. The last 25 km of the tour are among the most beautiful cycling routes in the entire nature park. You drive through the small Schambachtal to Riedenburg.
