The river Elbe originates in the Czech Giant Mountains and runs for more than 800 kilometers through Germany, where it flows into the North Sea at Cuxhaven. The special cycling route along this river, the Elberadweg, has been voted the most beautiful cycling route in Germany by the German Cyclists' Union for years in a row.
