Switch back to Schouwen-Duiveland

From Hotel Bru in Bruinisse you can drive straight into the polder of Schouwen-Duiveland. You drive here between the agricultural fields on a car-free road. Get some fresh air and relax! On the Oosterschelde you can visit Museum Flood 1953. This museum is located in the four caissons that closed the last hole in the dike at Ouwerkerk. From the dike you will soon have a beautiful view over the water. You will see beautiful monuments on the old Ring of Ouwerkerk. You will also pass some sights in neighboring Oosterland, such as the Judocus Church from 1400. Since the choir burned down in 1612, the tower has been separate from the church. Further on is the Oosterlandse Molen, a flour mill from 1752. The marina of Bruinisse has a beautiful view over the Grevelingenmeer.
