The fire
You can drive for many kilometers along quiet paths between coniferous and deciduous trees. Enjoy the silence and the fresh forest air. In between you drive through Giersbergen, a hamlet where time seems to have stood still. You will see beautiful monumental thatched farms. Further on you drive through De Brand, a small-scale landscape with old forest and small meadows.
Red Cycle Path
In Udenhout you will see some monumental Kempen long-facade farms. You will also pass De Strijdhoeve Estate. Just outside Tilburg you drive through the Noorderbos, created in 2001, where you mainly see pedunculate oaks and robinias. You can also see plenty of nature in Tilburg itself. For example, you will pass the Wilhelmina Park: with its old trees and stately buildings, one of the most beautiful places in Tilburg. From the Boomstraat you cycle along the famous Red Cycle Path that dates from 1977!
