Midden-Delfland is not only known for its beautiful polders, but also for its beautiful cycle paths! With this route you experience the natural beauty and history of this special region.
\\\'t Woudt
The tour starts from the TOP at junction 48 and you drive through a piece of horticultural area. At Druivenkwekerij Nieuw Tuinzight you can stock up on something tasty, for example for a picnic along the way. In the middle of the farming landscape you drive through the picturesque village of't Woudt. You will see centuries-old houses and farms, as well as the village church. From charming Schipluiden you drive along the Vlaardingervaart through the green polders of Midden-Delfland. Enjoy the peace and quiet while looking out over the vast meadows.
Picturesque Maassluis
You ride along the cycle path along the Vlietlanden; one of the few Dutch low peat areas that have never been reclaimed. The peat has therefore not settled, so that the area is higher than the surrounding polders. Maassluis enjoys a protected village view, especially on the quay you can see nice old buildings. You drive past the Wollebrand and the Kraaiennest, two quiet recreational areas that also serve as water storage. On the way back to the TOP you will pass Minicamping Zwetzone, which is located in the middle of the small nature reserve'De Zwethzone\\\'.
