Orchards

On roads where hardly any cars drive, you walk along ditches, rows of trees and orchards. A beautiful region that gets extra color in spring because of the fruit blossom. Sometimes you see a beautiful old farmhouse. In some places you have beautiful vistas over vast fields. It will take you little effort to switch back here and come to yourself.

Rhine
Just after you have entered the Hoge Dijkseweg, you will see a watercourse in the bushes. It is an old river arm of the Rhine. Further on you look out between two large deciduous trees on the Marspolder, a nature reserve that was created by sand extraction. From the Vicarieweg you can see the tower of the Cunerakerk in Rhenen on the horizon.
