Description
You can take a nice walk in the outskirts of Bussum. You walk through estates, forests and along the old ramparts of Naarden.
Fortress path
You start this route at a parking lot on the edge of Landgoed Oud-Naarden. This estate owes its name to the town of Oud-Naarden, which sunk in 1350. Now you can see many beautiful villas between the trees in this area. After a while you walk up the fortress path outside Naarden. Through the trees you look out over the canals and the ramparts with their loopholes. Feel free to walk into Naarden via the Utrechtse Poort.
Bussum
In Bussum you walk through the Brediuskwartier, this district built in the 1920s enjoys a protected village view. You walk the last part of the route through the forest and over the Nieuw Bussumer Heide and the Limitische Heide.
