reformed Church
You can walk straight into Voorthuizen from the beautiful estate of B&B Groot Overhorst. A charming village where you can see some beautiful buildings. Be sure to take a look at the striking Reformed Church, which dates from the fifteenth century. A little further on is a mansion from 1785. Via the tree-lined Bakkersweg you walk into the countryside. What immediately stands out: the tranquility and the beautiful vistas over the fields.
Zeumeren
Below Voorthuizen you walk on the footpath along the lake that is part of the Zeumeren recreation area. In this park-like environment you walk along the beach and the rippling water. Grab a bench to enjoy this special spot! You walk back into the countryside on a car-free road. You regularly see a thatched farmhouse. From the Noordersingel in Voorthuizen you have a beautiful view over the meadows. What a nice walking spot!
