Life is good between Tilburg and Eindhoven. You are cycling here in the Brabantse Kempen, a region where peace and natural beauty go hand in hand. You will also find friendly villages there.

Oostelbeerse Heide
From the Farm Terrace and the viewing stable Hoeve De Nachtegaal you can cycle in one turn to Wintelre, one of the Eight Beatitudes. Initially you drive through a small-scale landscape of fields and meadows. At Restaurant D\\\'n Hut you can stop for a break. Then you drive a bit through the woods of the Oostelbeerse Heide. It is nice to pedal here among the coniferous and deciduous trees, especially if you can look out over a heathland in between.

High wages
Just past Oostelbeers you pass the Himbergen, a striking remnant of a flour mill from 1884. In the woods near Heieind you pass the Monument to American Divers. In Hoogeloon you will pass the St. Pancratius Church, a monumental cross-domed church from 1924. Further on is the fourteenth-century tower of the older, but demolished St. Pancratius Church. In the forests of Buikheide you will find the Grootmeer and Kleinmeer, two special natural fens. Then you can regain strength with something tasty at De Nachtegaal.
