Description
From the Farm Terrace and viewing stable Hoeve De Nachtegaal you can easily walk into the forests of the Buikheide. You will soon pass the Grootmeer, the first of the two natural fens in this nature reserve. There is a lookout tower that offers you a beautiful panorama. In the forests of Buikheide you mainly walk between the nice, fresh-smelling conifers. In some parts the forest has an open character and you can see large American oaks and firs. At the edge of the forest you have beautiful views over fields and grasslands. You walk along a quiet road through Kreiel, a hamlet where there are several beautiful farms. At the Nachtegaal it's time for a nice terrace!
