Herberg "In den Bockenreyder" - short walk

Landgoed De Utrecht is a beautiful nature reserve that mainly consists of pine forests. Between the trees you can see a beautiful pond: the Flaes. First a cup of coffee on the nice terrace of In den Bockenreyder, an inn that is 90 years old, and then you put on your walking shoes. You are here in the Kempen, a beautiful authentic area with long facade farms, fens and forests. Landgoed De Utrecht was started in 1898 as an investment by life insurance company De Utrecht. You can walk for miles through the woods here. Occasionally you have beautiful views of flowery grasslands. With a bit of luck you will see a fox or deer walking here. It is so quiet here that civilization seems miles away.
