Hike on the Heimgarten

The start of the hike is the car park at the end of Wankstraße in Ohlstadt. The way to the Heimgarten is always signposted with number 442. First through the meadows, then on a path that goes very steeply uphill through the forest. Later you reach the cross on the Buchrain and after about 1.5 km you reach the top of the Rauheck. Now you can see the top well and when you arrive in the Heimgarten-Hütte below the top you can enjoy a delicious bread meal! The way back is via the same road. At the Feichtl you turn right down the mountain and follow the indications 442 and 441 and return to the starting point.
