The starting point of the partly high-alpine hut hike is the hiking car park on the Isar in Krün. From there you follow the ever-rising Forststraße to the Fischbachalm (partly staffed) and continue on the Lakaien-Steig to the Soiernhaus or on the Forststraße to Hundstall and from there on to the Soiernhaus (overnight accommodation). If you still have energy, you can make a detour (approx. 2 hours of easy walking) to the Schöttlkarspitze, where you have a fascinating panoramic view of the Alpenwelt Karwendel. You then return along the picturesque Soiernsee to the Soiernhaus.
On the second day you continue over the"Jagersruh\\\" climb to Jöchel and the Soiernspitze. After an extensive moment of rest with a unique view over the high mountain ranges, you continue to climb to the Vereiner Alm and the Kriner-Kofler-Hütte. From here you first follow the Forststraße for about 45 minutes to the valley and then turn left at the bridge to the Jägersteig. The path then leads through a light forest and past small waterfalls to the meadows of the Aschau. From there you go to the parking lot Isarhorn. You can also take the RVO bus back to Krün from here.
