Nemerlaer Castle
From your starting point near Haaren you can quickly walk to Nemerlaer Castle, a thirteenth-century castle surrounded by a moat. On the estate you walk through a park-like environment with stately avenues. In this beautiful area you can enjoy a wonderful rest. From the driveway - the Kasteelllaan - you can see the historic building coming closer. In Haaren you will not only see regional farms, but also the Old Tower from 1427 - the accompanying church collapsed in 1780.

Farming hamlets
Around Haaren you walk through several small hamlets with their typical Brabant village atmosphere, such as't Eind and Kerkeind. Along the way you will enjoy the farm landscape and the views to the edge of the forest: the Nemerlaer estate runs into the Kampina on the south side, with its forests around the heath, and of course the Oisterwijk forests and fens.
