Castle Nemerlaer
From your starting point near Haaren, you quickly walk to Kasteel Nemerlaer, a thirteenth-century castle surrounded by a moat. On the estate you walk through a park-like environment with stately avenues. In this beautiful area you can enjoy a soothing rest. From the driveway - the Kasteelllaan - you can see the historic building coming closer. In Haaren, in addition to regional farms, you can also see the Oude Toren from 1427 - the accompanying church collapsed in 1780.

Farming hamlets
Around Haaren you walk through various small hamlets with their typical Brabant village atmosphere, such as't Eind and Kerkeind. Along the way you can enjoy the farmer's landscape and the views to the edge of the forest: Landgoed Nemerlaer flows into the Kampina on the south side, with its forests around the heath, and of course the Oisterwijk forests and fens.
