Kienehoef
From the starting point you simply follow the network of walking nodes, so there is no getting lost! You first walk along the free to visit Recreatiepark de Kienehoef, a 20-hectare park with beautiful ponds where you often see fishermen. You can also rent a rowing boat here or have a drink in the associated pavilion.
Doom valley
You can see the Knoptorenkerk of Sint-Oedenrode from afar. In the summer you can climb the 154 steps to the clockwork for a magnificent view. Through the village you walk back to the south, to the valley around the beautiful meandering river Dommel, which is increasingly being restored to its original state. Further on you will pass the place where Te Rijsingen Castle once stood, recognizable by an irregularly shaped piece of grassland bordered by a ditch.
