A beautiful walk through Sint-Oedenrode with the fun Recreation Park de Kienehoef. Even play boating? It is possible with this fun route!
Kienehoef
From the starting point, you simply follow the walking junction network, so getting lost is not an option! You first walk along the free-to-visit Recreation Park de Kienehoef, a 20-hectare park with beautiful ponds where you often see fishermen. You can also rent a rowing boat here or have a drink in the accompanying pavilion.
Dommel Valley
From afar you can see the Knoptorenkerk of Sint-Oedenrode. In the summer you can climb the 154 steps to the clock for a magnificent view. Through the village you walk back to the south, to the valley around the beautifully meandering river Dommel that is increasingly being restored to its original state. Further on you come along the place where castle Te Rijsingen once stood, recognizable by an irregularly shaped piece of grassland bordered by a ditch.
