A lovely walk around the village of Boskant, where you discover various farming hamlets. You will also see many trees - the village has its name for a reason!
Meierij
From the small Boskant you discover the Meierij near Den Bosch, a beautiful authentic farmland. You regularly pass old farms and chapels. In addition to forests you will also find a mosaic of streams, flowery grasslands, hedgerows and agricultural lands. How nice and quiet it is to walk here!
Tree nurseries
The hamlets of De Bus, Scheeken Vernhout and De Bunders are located around the village. Boskant has an appropriate name: you will find several large tree nurseries there, one of which is even one of the largest in Europe. Poplars also often grow along the winding roads. These trees were mainly planted in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. The wood from the poplars was sold to the local clog and match factories.
