Picturesque Harderwijk
This former fishing town was once located on the Zuiderzee. You can still see many beautiful buildings from that rich history, such as the fourteenth-century Vischpoort: the only remaining city gate on the waterfront. Further on you will pass the Grote Kerk, a cross basilica that partly dates from the fifteenth century.
The Veluwe
From Harderwijk you immediately drive into the woods of the Veluwe. Enjoy cycling on winding paths between old deciduous trees and fragrant conifers! Now that's enjoying nature.
