Kempen-Hageland route
From your starting point you will soon be driving on the route of railway line 29. It used to run from Aarschot all the way to Tilburg, but the two ends have been converted into a cycle path. You drive here on the Kempen-Hageland route, a popular connecting route between these two regions. Remarkably enough, many animal species also use the cycle path as a connecting road: via the roadside! Via Booischot you drive to the nice town of Heist-op-den-Berg.

Here you will be entertained for a while with the water and watchtower, heemerf Cheese Sprinkle Mill and Pandoerenhoeven, the provincial green domain De Averegten and the Sunday flea and organic market. If you are cycling here on a Sunday, you should definitely plan some time to walk past the market stalls! You cycle through the beautiful valley of the Grote Nete to't Schipke aan de Nete. On board you can enjoy good food and enjoy this enchanting place.
