Walking through Meijendel

With this walking route you make a loop through Meijendel, a nature reserve that will in the future form part of the Hollandse Duinen National Park. The first loop mainly takes you along parabolic dunes and through valleys with thickets and moist grasslands. You can also walk a bit on the beach. You can enjoy the sound of the surf here, and when the weather is nice you can paddle. About halfway you make a stop at Farm Meyendel Pancakes and more. The farm is a monument and is a reminder of the former agricultural cultivation that once took place here. The second part you walk over high lime-poor dunes. You will see a mix of open valleys and pine and poplar groves here. Afterwards you can have a drink at Farm Meyendel.
