Het Groene Hart is ideal if you love water, panoramic views and windmills. Soon after boarding, you drive into the polders. Here you see the Hondsdijkse Molen, a polder mill from 1693. Further on is the Lagenwaardse Molen. It drains the area and dates from 1836. It is beautiful to cycle along the Wijde Aa, while looking out over the rippling water. You cycle to the Kagerplassen via the village of Woubrugge. On nice days, many boats float here. You will also pass the Geestmolen and Dekkermolen. The Vrouwgeest mill from 1797 is the last polder mill on your route. At Van der Valk Avifauna you are welcome for a delicious meal. Book a boat tour through the Groene Hart or a visit to the Avifauna Bird Park to complete your weekend.
