Walking around Warmond and Oegstgeest

Park at the VVV in Warmond, drink a cup of coffee at Brasserie Coazy. In addition to its beautiful location and the water of the Kaag, Warmond has much more to offer. The town is located on an old beach ridge and has a protected village view. After you have explored Warmond, you continue walking towards the picturesque Oegstgeest. Until the beginning of the twentieth century, Oegstgeest consisted of several separate cores. At most, scattered houses and farms could be found between these neighbourhoods. It was only after 1900 that the intermediate areas were built on. You then walk through the water-rich countryside back to Warmond: along the banks of the Klinkenberger Plas. The Klinkenbergerplas is located between the municipality of Teylingen and Oegstgeest. The pool consists of a large and a small pool.
