Landgoed De Utrecht is located in the Brabant border region. A unique nature reserve that is easy to discover with a walk. Put on your walking shoes and come and enjoy.
Low Mierde
The route first takes you through the village of Lage Mierde. You can see some Kempen long-gable farms here. You will also pass the Sint Stephanuskerk, which originally dates from the fifteenth century. Mostly pine trees grow on Landgoed De Utrecht, but you will also see plots with foliage. How wonderfully green and quiet it is here!
The Utrecht
Landgoed De Utrecht was started in 1898 as an investment by life insurance company De Utrecht. You can walk for miles through the woods here. Occasionally you have beautiful views of flowery grasslands. With a bit of luck you will see a fox or deer walking here. It is so quiet here that civilization seems miles away. You walk back to your starting point on a car-free, tree-lined road.
