From Bossche Bol to Bossche School

Get on your bike for a 50-kilometer journey of discovery through Brabant. This cycle route takes you through a beautiful and varied landscape, through old fortified towns and past buildings with special architecture.

The special Den Bosch School style
You start your cycling tour at De Heische Tip campsite in Zeeland. Here the coffee is ready with, of course, a delicious Bossche Bol. From here you can discover the Bossche School style in the villages of Zeeland, Schaijk and Reek. In this way you will get to know this special traditionalist movement better. The sober and sleek design and numerical proportions have something mysterious. In Schaijk you will pass the house of Jan de Jong, one of the most prominent architects of this movement. The route takes you further through the historic fortified towns of Grave and Ravenstein. Here you will find many more remains that remind you of the rich history of this region.

The Maashorst
The last part of the route takes you through the primeval area in Brabant: De Maashorst. Here you can spot bison, taurus and Exmoor ponies, explore the breeding grounds and discover the cultural-historical treasures. Actually, it's all too much to discover in one day. So feel free to spend a night at one of the comfortable B&Bs, beautiful campsites, bungalow parks or special group accommodations.
